• Temporary ban on importing poultry from Zimbabwe

              Asharqia Chamber presents its best regards and informs you of  the receipt of the letter of the Council of the Saudi Chambers of the letter of  the letter of the Food and Drug Authority (No. 38103) date 18/11/1438, referring to the report of the immediate notification issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) No. (24241) date 16/10/1438 (10/7/2017), which reports the emergence of severe flue (H5N8) in the Mashonaland East region of Zimbabwe, the Committee decree No. (36474) date (4/11/2017) 1438) to impose a temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, table eggs and their products and equipment from Mashonaland East in Zimbabwe due to the flue, Poultry meat, table eggs and their products treated thermally or in any other manner capable of eradicating the flue virus, in accordance with the requirements and health regulations and approved standard specifications, and attaching a health certificate proving that the product is a heat agent or in any other way capable of eradicating the flue virus, issued by the competent official authorities in the State of Zimbabwe, and continues this temporary ban until the stability of the health of livestock.
